The bible tells us in proverbs "Iron sharpens Iron."    Every born-again person is a spiritual man living in the spirit and should therefore desire to be sharpened; but what sharpens our spirit? Won't you like to sharpen your spirit (inner man)? Sharpening spirit man is what we are called to. Oh yes! God is interested in our spirit man; this man is renewed into His image everyday and the Holy Spirit will be in this business until we meet Christ at His coming  ".....our spirits are renewed everyday. (2 Cor 4:16).  As the Iron sharpens the iron, so the spirit must be sharpened by the spirit. Yes, only spirit can sharpen spirit. Many may think that the knowledge acquired from colleges, institutes and their degree sharpens them; but sorry, its not our educational qualification; its not the knowledge that we have acquired through our research programs that can sharpen our spirit man. "Your mother will die within half an hour?"  said a very senior doctor as he talked to me. I will never ever forget those words for my entire life, because it is sealed in my mind! My mother was very very sick and was admitted in a renown neurological hospital in our town in the year 2006. She was kept under close observation in Intensive Care Unit; and the test results showed, that she had multi-organ dis-function; her kidneys were failing, liver, respiratory tracks and lungs were infected; horrifying ulcers developed on her back and fingers   (ulcer caused by high sugar)   and over and above she was down with hypokalemic periodic paralysis; as she was unable to breathe, she was on ventilator. Does the Bible teach Doctrine Of Eternal Security? (Exposing distorted teaching) W hen we read 1 Corinthian chapter 5, it talks about an immoral man. What is his act of immorality? He is guilty of having his father’s wife  (probably his step mother).  Paul describes the act as a flagitious one; such, that it is not even reported among heathens. Those who preach "doctrine of eternal security" frequently use this passage to teach the validity of this doctrine; wherein we are taught: once you are saved, then you are always saved; no matter what. They teach; one will never lose the salvation, even if they keep sinning and die in their sin  without repenting.   So, this implies, that after one believes in Jesus, he or she is incapable of getting lost eternally.
